Dr. Susan Steer, is an art historian with a passion for Medieval and Renaissance Venice. With a PhD on Venetian altarpieces and a post-doctoral Neil MacGregor scholarship, she’s contributed to the UK’s national catalogue of European paintings and published widely on Italian art. A seasoned lecturer in both the UK and Italy, Susan spent years co-teaching at the University of Warwick’s Venice program. The Venice representative for the Venice in Peril Fund, she’s dedicated to preserving the city’s artistic heritage. Susan has called Venice home for 30 years, bringing its rich history to life with every story she tells.
