Having travelled extensively with work, Phil has lived in many major cities including, Belfast, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles, Dubai, although today he is happy to call the 'la dolce vita’ of Bassano Del Grappa, home. “I first visited Bassano in 2006 and fell in love with the place. What's not to love about an Italian town, nestled at the foot of the Dolomites, a stones throw away from Venice and surrounded by the luscious vines that give the world Soave, Valpolicella, Pinot Grigio, Amarone, Bardolino, Vespaiola and Prosecco, not to mention the food”. “I always felt that 36061, Bassano Del Grappa’s ‘zip’ code and the surrounding areas had something special to offer the outside world as it is so rich in culinary and cultural aspects”.

BEGINNINGS From humble beginnings in Northern Ireland to the world stage, Phil brings with him, 30+ years in the global events industry and as the owner of a boutique creative event production company catering to large high end corporate and beauty & fashion brands, Phil now focuses on intimate personalized experiences. Phil launched ‘Live Like a Local Italy’, in late 2021 amidst the pandemic. The aim was to showcase life in the Veneto region of Italy, as experienced through the eyes of an English-speaking ex-pat Irish local!
