A Bit About Me

I’m Phil Clark, and after 30+ years producing events and video across the world from London to Los Angeles I left it all behind and moved to Italy. I now live full-time next to Venice in Bassano del Grappa, surrounded by the beauty, food, and friendships that changed my life.

I created Live Like a Local Italy to help others experience what I did: the magic of slowing down, eating well, laughing with locals, and discovering the Italy that guidebooks miss. I bring my global experience, creative eye, and local network to every trip I plan and if I travel with you, I bring calm, clarity, and fun along the way.

What kinds of trips do you plan?
Everything from romantic getaways to multigenerational family adventures. Whether it’s a 3 day food escape or a 3 week cross-country journey, we’ll tailor it completely to you.

Can you travel with us?
Yes! If you’d like a personal concierge and guide along the way, I (Phil) can join you to handle logistics, translate, problem-solve, and enhance every experience—so all you do is enjoy.

Do you organize accommodation and transport?
Absolutely. From boutique hotels to villa rentals, private drivers & rental cars to trains, we handle it all, so your trip flows effortlessly from arrival to departure.

Is this only for Venice or the Veneto region?
While I’m based in Veneto, I plan trips all across Italy, from Milan to Sicily. I also collaborate with trusted locals in other regions for authentic experiences anywhere you go.
